The field-kit tools are designed to be useful without sending your household records to us.
Browser-based tools
The Home Ledger stores entries in your browser on your device using local browser storage. The moving, maintenance, tornado, and storm-documentation tools run in the page. The site does not intentionally send the details you enter into these tools to our server.
Your responsibility for exports
Downloaded inventories and printed checklists may contain private information. Store them securely, use encryption where appropriate, and avoid sending sensitive records through unsecured email or shared links.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Bing Webmaster Tools are not active until their configuration values are supplied. This page will be updated before optional analytics that use cookies or similar identifiers are enabled.
